God's word lifts and encourages us to keep our eyes fixed on Him, hold our heads held high and declare what His word says about us and our circumstances.

 

Praying God's word/scripture is an amazing and powerful tool that is filled with many prayers, promises, miracles, God's awesome power, mercy, love and grace. Is there any other tool that is more powerful then God's own words...to defeat the enemy; the things that are coming against you, your marriage or family; breaking addictions; believing for healing; finances; finding your purpose; and so much more? God's word contains the answers and a foundation for a powerful prayer life.

How do you pray scriptures as prayers?

Find scriptures that speak to your situation or circumstances and pray that scripture. Some like to personalize them with your name or your loved one's name within the scripture. There is nothing more powerful then praying God's own words back to Him, knowing that you are speaking to God's own heart.

God Himself states how powerful His word is...

"So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me void (useless, without result), without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11, AMP

Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word." Jeremiah 1:12, NJKV

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Hebrews 4:12, NASB
