There are many books published and renown authors, which provide amazing details and in depth of what Spiritual Warfare is. However, in "simple" words Spiritual Warfare is when you take a stand with your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and ALL of His kingdom and come against the enemy (Satan), his cohorts, scorpions, serpents, snakes and the kingdom of darkness/hell.

You have decided that enough is enough and you WILL NOT let the enemy (Satan) and the kingdom of darkness come against you, your marriage, your family, your bloodline, etc. You WILL NOT allow the enemy to have the upper hand on you...so you pick up your suit (Full armor of God), sword (Word of God) and CHARGE in the name of the Lord, as David did when battling Goliath, NEVER looking back.

Full Armor of God - Ephesians 6:10-17 (NIV)

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

1 Samuel 17:45-47 (AMP)

"Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the corpses of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, so that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that this entire assembly may know that the Lord does not save with the sword or with the spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will hand you over to us.”"

The word of God says we have the authority as a child of God, to trample the heads of serpents, scorpions and the enemy (Satan) himself. For the enemy has already been defeated on the cross, so he is already aware of his demise. It is TIME for us to take our authority back over the enemy and let him know, his reign in the destruction of our lives, whatever it may be - our marriage, our children, our family, our health, our finances, generational curses, addictions, pornography, doubt, stubbornness, pride, the list can go on...his reign is OVER and we are giving God his rightful place at the center of our lives.

"Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you."
